What is hCG and how does it work?

hCG is a natural hormone produced by pregnant females. It is the pregnancy hormone. hCG allows the body to mobilize stored fat within the body and use it for energy. We use a small amount of hCG to take advantage of this mechanism. Used in conjunction with a low calorie diet, the results are amazing!

Is hCG safe?

hCG is very safe. Women have very high levels during pregnancy with no adverse affects. We use a very small amount of hCG and to this date, there are no known clinical side effects of homeopathic hCG.

What is the difference between prescription and non-prescription hCG?

Prescription hCG is generally delivered via injection. It is generally under the supervision of a licensed physician and is generally expensive.

Non-prescription hCG is generally blended with other natural ingredients. It is usually delivered via sub lingual drops under the tongue. It is legal to obtain without a prescription, generally more affordable, & the results are the same as prescription hCG.

Wouldn’t I lose the same amount of weight eating a very low calorie diet without the hCG?

The short answer to this question is yes, you absolutely would lose weight. However, you will be extremely cranky, sluggish, & hungry. You would most likely burn muscle instead of fat, thus making it easier to gain the weight back after you’ve lost it. In the presence of hCG, your body will burn the stored fat (generally in the belly, hips, & thighs). You’re actually burning about 3000 calories per day off your body each day when taking the hCG which is why you won’t be overly hungry while on this diet!

The hCG diet is very low calorie, will I get hungry?

It is common to feel hungry the first 2-3 days on this diet. This will pass as the days go on as you’re mobilizing and burning the stored fat reserves in your body. Several of our recipes have natural appetite suppressant properties, thus making this diet easy to comply with!

How can I survive on only 500 calories a day?

hCG releases roughly 3000 calories of stored fat in addition to the 500 calories you are consuming. So you are actually living off of 3500 calories per day which is why people don’t feel hungry while on the hCG diet.

Will I keep the weight off?

After you’ve completed the hCG diet you will find that your appetite has decreased, and that your eating behavior will be altered and your body will have changed. hCG also works with the hypothalamus of the brain to essentially reset your metabolism, thus making it easy to keep the weight off. This makes for a great opportunity to adopt a healthier lifestyle to maintain your ideal weight.

Is hCG safe for men?

hCG is very safe for men. In fact men tend to lose more weight then women.

How much weight can I expect to lose on the program?

Our findings have been an average of 1 pound per day. Some days more, some days less but in general a pound a day is a rough estimate. With our 26 day program, expect to lose anywhere between 25-30 pounds.

Can I continue to exercise while on the diet?

No! Exercise is generally not recommended while on the hCG diet. Exercise burns calories and thus will cause your hunger to increase. This makes it more difficult to comply. So relax for a few weeks and just keep in mind that you’ll be a thinner, more skinnier you when you go back to the gym!

Can I continue to take my vitamins while doing this diet?

It is generally recommended to avoid taking vitamins while on the hCG diet. Specifically fish oils & vitamin D which have a high fat content.

Can I take hCC while using birth control?

hCG has not been shown to interfere with birth control. However, hCG has been used to treat infertility in patients.

Should women start taking hCG when on their period?

The best time for women to start the hCG diet is immediately following their period.

What about pregnancy and taking hCG?

If you become pregnant during the hCG diet, stop taking hCG and consult your physician.

Can I take the hCG drops longer than 26 days if I haven’t reached my goal yet?

Yes, you can take the hCG drops up to 40 days. After 40 days you must take a break before doing another round. This is to prevent your body from becoming immune to hCG. Remember, 20 days is the shortest amount of time and 40 days is the longest amount of time to be taking the hCG drops.

Are there any initial symptoms after starting the diet?

Some people notice a dull headache during the first few days of the diet. This is a normal response as your body will be going through a major detoxification process.

Can I drink alcohol on the hCG diet?

No, alcohol is not allowed while you are taking the drops. There are a lot of empty calories in alcoholic beverages so it’s best to get your 500 calories from foods while on the diet.

Is it ok to skip meals on the hCG diet?

No, it’s important NOT to skip meals during the hCG diet. It’s important to consume all 500 calories and especially your protein so that you don’t lose muscle.

Can vegetarians use hCG for weight loss?

Yes! Vegetarians can use hCG for weight loss using a different protocol.

What kind of make-up/cosmetics can I use?

Mineral make-up is best. Be sure to check the ingredients of everything you use and put on your skin and make sure it doesn’t contain oil. If you do use oil containing products, your weight loss will not be as dramatic and effective.
