Step By Step Approach To Fix Leaky Gut!

Remember, leaky gut can affect your entire body! This leads to inflammation throughout your entire body causing symptoms such as:

  • Bloating
  • Food Sensitivities
  • Thyroid Problems
  • Joint Pain
  • Weight Gain / Weight Loss Resistance
  • Skin Problems
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Digestive Problems
  • Migraines
  • Depression

What Can Be Done To Fix Leaky Gut?

Step 1: Get tested for food sensitivities. This is one of our specialties at Natural Health Solutions. We test 100 foods including candida to determine how your body and more specifically how your immune system is reacting to various foods.

Step 2: Remove these problematic foods from your diet! We'll customize an "acceptable" food list based upon your blood work.

Step 3: Replenish good bacteria in your gut with probiotics. At least 50 Billion units of probiotics from a high quality brand.

Step 4: Some other important supplements to consider are digestive enzymes which help your body break down foods more efficiently. Take 1-2 capsules before a meal. This helps to ensure that partially digested food particles aren't damaging your gut wall. L-glutamine has also been shown to heal the gut lining. L-glutamine is an essential amino acid that is anti-inflammatory and is necessary for the growth and repair of your intestinal lining. Some other supplements to consider would be licorice root, slippery elm & quercetin.

Step 5: Remove potential triggers such as stress or harmful medicines (especially antacid medications or NSAIDS).

Step 6: Consider adding the following healing foods:

  • Bone Broth
  • Raw Cultured Dairy
  • Fermented Foods - Sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir etc.
  • Coconut Oil & Other Coconut Products
  • Sprouted Seeds - Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds, Hemp Seeds (Good source of fiber & beneficial bacteria)
